Boy’s Vaulter of the Week

Riley Neville: Riley is a junior from Yerington H.S. and is having an impressive 2012 season. At the Yerington Relays, Riley posted a season PR of 14' and is currently the top boy's vaulter in the 2A region. On his way to defend his 2A Boy's Pole Vault Championship we can see that Riley will be a force to be reckoned with for the Regional Meet this month. For his impressive performances we would like to name Riley Neville, our week-8 Boy’s “Vaulter of the Week”.

Girl’s Vaulter of the Week

Gabrielle Palazzolo: Back in 2009, Gaby was our first Girl's vaulter of the week in her very first meet of her high school career at the 9th-10th Southeast Roundup. This multi-event athlete from Liberty H.S. has excelled in the LJ, Triple Jump, as well as running in her schools 4x100m Relay. This week she finally jumped her Season PR in the Pole Vault with a jump of 10'. She did this in the final home meet of her senior year setting her school record & stadium record for her school. This was also a 1 foot PR for Gaby and a performance deserving of Pure Sky Vaulting's Girl’s “Vaulter of the Week”, Week-8.

Congratulations to both of these athletes!!

All “Vaulters of the Week” will receive a “Vaulter of the Week” tee-shirt (as soon as they come in). At the end of the season, we will pick one girl and one boy for “Vaulter of the Year” from all the kids who were named “Vaulter of the Week”.
